I had an awesome dream last night;
Doctor Manhattan, and a powerful woman in a chair were looking over a representation of the universe;
the cat from the same comic as doctor manhattan and a good woman who could grant wishes were looking over a galaxy;
and 2 or 3 other key people were looking at some other key aspect.
the whole universe was being blessed beyond measure.

Moved to General.
Why can't my own dreams be this simple? Even my good dreams have to be riddled with plot twists.

Re: awesome dream
I had a dream a couple of nights ago that had a better sense of humour than I do. I wanted to see outside of the room I was in, so I opened the curtain, and there was another curtain underneath. So I opened that one and there was another, I just kept opening layers and layers of curtains. And when I finally got to the window, it was one of those frosted ones you can't actually see through properly. And then I looked slightly to the left of the window I had been struggling with, and there was another window where the curtain was already open and it was ordinary glass...

I had a dream last night that my family invited me to the movies and it was a horror movie and I was not mentally prepared for it.
If you think tough men are dangerous, wait til you see what weak men are capable of.

What I can remember of my dream last night is great. I was at a meeting with another company on behalf of mine, but the key thing is that my company was only *pretending* to be interested in working with that other company, so I was there as a kind of information-gathering exercise. But what followed was a kind of sitcom-style escalation where each lie required another lie to cover for it, and I started having to call other people from my company to come over in order to corroborate the story and play various invented roles to keep the lie alive. At one point, one of my co-workers had to invent a whole tragic inspiring backstory to explain how he came to work for the company despite everything he had supposedly been through. There were also a couple of more typical "dream-like" problems, like the part where I suddenly realised I wasn't dressed appropriately for the meeting (casual T-shirt instead of suit), and the part where my eyes suddenly wouldn't open, until finally I managed it. But in the end, something happened that made us have to come clean about the lies. At this point, the room was mostly filled with people from my company, and we all had to awkwardly shuffle out while apologising.

Re: awesome dream
I had a dream last night about Educomix.
I was reading an older storyline, and Dave was about to enter a new building for the first time (I think a school that he got hired at). On the outside of the building were some elevator buttons for different floors, which didn't seem odd at the time, but what did seem odd was that one of the buttons was labelled "Demolish", and would demolish the building if you pressed it. By this button was a big sign with a bunch of warnings (which one panel zoomed in on), including a warning that if you pressed it, you'd be affected by an ancient curse.
At first I thought this was super dangerous, anyone could just press it while there were people inside, but then I noticed next to it was a keyhole, so you'd probably need a key to actually make the button work.
But then I was reading a slightly later storyline in which Dave got a key that could open any door (I think either this was something he got because he was a janitor, or it was Janus's key; I think the dream was inconsistent about this).
At this point I remembered a storyline I'd read more recently (that time I'd started reading sometime later than the thing with the Demolish button), in which Dave tries to open the door to this school and it just crumbles and falls down, with no explanation there for why, and I realized then that this must have been because he used the keyhole for the Demolish button, and I wondered why I didn't make that connection earlier.
