Title text: It was great until my thumb slipped and I accidentally launched my telescope into the air at Mach 8.

Does any particular sort of tool resemble the visible parts of the surrounding area?

I've never even seen a rotary tool with a speed adjustment switch letting you select specific RPM values, usually it's just a knob with maybe a 0-10 scale if they felt like labeling it.
