Title text: These rocks are from a time before eyes, brains, and bones, pieces of a land warmed by an unseen sun.

Very old things do fascinate me. I'll think about this the next time I'm near rocks.

This is pretty much the opposite feeling as HP Lovecraft, who felt the concept of deep time was horrifying and included it in many of his stories.
