Title text: In my new scale, °X, 0 is Earths' record lowest surface temperature, 50 is the global average, and 100 is the record highest, with a linear scale between each point and adjustment every year as needed.
My system is just to categorise it as "shorts weather", "trousers weather", or "big coat weather".
I'd personally say Rankine is less cursed than Fahrenheit, any absolute scale of temperature is rooted in some understanding of thermodynamics as opposed to just picking a temperature you like and calling that zero.
Anyway, in my new temperature scale zero is the hottest possible temperature in the universe and it uses a logarithmic scale
