We're making a skyscraper! Each post describes the next floor of the skyscraper, which can be or contain anything!

(Floor numbers should align (be 1 less than) post numbers, so each page starts on a multiple of 25. Ressed from xkcd skyscraper.)

Floor 0: The ground floor. There's a lift that goes infinitely far! Unfortunately, the designers were Australian, so it goes into the ground instead of into the skyscraper.

Oh, are we doing british floor numbering?

Floor 1 contains a man who has sworn to kill any squirrel that enters the building. You can see the pile of squirrels he has killed near the bathrooms.

Floor 2 is one enormous restroom. Unfortunately, due to a mix-up in ordering, the stalls contain only slot machines.

Floor 3 has temporarily been moved to the basement to make room for the scaffolding that replaces Floor 3 while Floor 3 is in the basement.

Floor 4 contains rows and rows of filing cabinets, each one containing a single file. You open one out of curiosity. All it says is "You shouldn't have looked."

Floor 5 contains a water-slide. The slide goes through floor 3 and is said to end on floor 6, but scientists speculate it actually ends on floor 23 instead.

Floor 6 is the accounting floor. They're always behind on the payroll. They all complain about the daily walk up and down the stairs.

Floor 7 has stairs to floors 6 and 8, but floors 6 and 8 have no stairs to floor 7.

Floor 8 contains a cafeteria. They serve pizza and pasta dishes, but also Thai green curry for some reason.

Floor 9 contains a group of animal lovers trying to smuggle a squirrel past the guy on floor 1. They have on display a collection of failed contraptions for this purpose, which visitors can see for a small fee. In a corner is a memorial to one of their members who was killed during one such attempt.

Floor A contains a large mainframe computer that has supposedly hasn't been turned off in half a century, instead having parts hotswapped while other bits were still running. The group of computer engineers operating it are split into two factions: one wants the computer to keep running as long as possible, the other would like to take it apart to see how it even works.

Floor 11 contains the desks for a group of Mathematicians and Computer Scientists who keep getting confused why the floor they think they're supposed to be at has been replaced by scaffolding.

Floor 12 is actually floor 10 in base-9.

Floor 14 is superstitious.

The actual floor 14 is, due to an air conditioning fault, both too hot and too cold.

Floor 15 is actually located in another building.

Floor 16 is a giant fishtank. An intricate set of airlocks need to be passed through to go between the two adjacent floors.

Floor 17 contains the guard shark. It smells fear and know how to make a mean creme brulee.

Floor 18 has different ambient music playing depending on where you stand. No obvious source can be found.

Floor 19 is best viewed in Opera.

Floor 20 contains all cafeterias for all vegan needs.

Floor 21 contains a cafeteria where everything on the menu is non-vegan (that means no sides of potatoes, no salads, ...).

We don't talk about floor 22.

Floor 23 recently had all its fire alarms removed because the ghosts kept pulling them.

Floor 24 rhymes rather catchily, but that is its only notable feature.
