With Wam's claim in willing to hold off on eliminating him, though my first thought was role cop when he described his results. Also curious as to why his results were not loud like the other two joats

If someone wants to use the request as a basis on a townread is up to that person, so you don't have to do that if you don't want Santy. Telling others not to include it doesn't really make sense to be honest.
I honestly dont care. It goes against the integrity of the game and encourages things I dont want to happen in mafia.
I will be very vocal about this

I dont care if some forums agree or not, or if it was serious or not. Its not a conversation I want to happen in this game .
I do think that replacement requests and all that talk should be always done in private. That was not the case here but dont want to make the issue bigger with using it to discuss reads lol.
Because you are basically allowing it to use it as a strat to get townread, and is something super bad to encourage or let happen. I personally dont care if it was stated in the rules before or not, I am voicing to be super against that and dont want to see that happening here. So please lets just not?
I agree that we shouldn't be discussing it now. You want other people to stop doing something you dislike, you should bring it up post-game. Actually you should've brought it up in dancers post-game frankly.
I'll add, that it's very rare for asking for a replacement helps with a town rationale. It's way more commonly used to scumread somebody.
As for public versus private, replacement requests are public information out of necessity in this forum because replacements need to be canvassed, we just don't have a large enough playerbase to just have people always available.

I didnt put enough attention to how somi requested the sub out, or encouraged/engaged in reads of that after I replaced in.
If people are doing something I dislike and keeping on it, Im going to bring it up the moment to stop it /shrug

Your team explicitly asked if certain variations were angle shooting (eg faking a request) and there was an explicit mod decision right before you replaced in. I would not expect you to bring attention to it though, given the plan involved sacrificing Somi's slot.
You should've brought it up then, when we're already in a game where people are making assumptions and playing based on existing way people play. Hell, I may even agree with you about it going forward.
But it's a decision we have to make as a community. Not have it decided by one person in an ongoing game.
You are of course, free to assert that you have an issue with it. But it's not a good thing to debate right now. Your disagreement is acknowledged.

I will say that I town read Adum and feel that the nontown info is wrong, and that is what I'm basing that town read off of. But emotions and reactions do factor in on some reads, which is the case with Mak for me. It could be theater, and he could be scum, but it doesn't feel that way and I'm willing to ride it out for now.
With Wam claiming to be a 3rd Joat, that bumps him up from bottom of the list to where I have Mak so you and Bessie drop down which means we're looking at a scum team of Moody, Somi, and Santy/Bessie...
Somehow it seems too easy to establish that already, but this is based off of Seven and Wam being honest... which I feel they are.
Totally going to bite me in the rear later, I'm sure.

Regardless, given his claim I think town-Wam would've at least been treating me like Mak and Seven have been treating my slot given his claims.
But I think if he had any incentive to scumhunt my slot I think he would've figured it out earlier, given the ease he figured it out when pressed. Possibly keeping it in his back pocket and signled that he thought he knew but didn't want to say.
But it was a popular view and therefore easy for scum to sheep, in spite of his role information suggesting he should've been suspicious.

Wam, if you are town Im not going to be unreasonable and say that you should fight for your life with more motivation or whatever. But like, try to leave a legacy please?
Mostly so because your suspect was bessie, after rereading them you unvote them and it feels like you dont have amy sus or direction in your solving atm.
If the thought of it being pointless if we yeet you is holding you back, I suggest the legacy angle. Town!you is in a better solving position than most of the thread, use it to your advantage

Don't really believe you but if you're not lying I fully agree with what Santy is saying.
If you are town you should be fighting your yeet or at least trying to leave a legacy. I don't know about the others but I put a lot of value in the opinions of dead townies so I promise if you flip town I don't plan on wasting your thoughts.
Also, you didn't mention this so given you're the likely elim, what's your other JOAT abilities?

Tone read. To me, it reads like trying to get a few shots on town while he goes out rather than being a broken townie (or scum) who doesn't feel like fighting anymore.
(I should note that even if it is fatalism this isn't even close to how he went down when he was yeeted in pick your poison where he was town)

Santy is correct that many mainstream forum mafia sites ban speculation on alignment based on replacement status/requests. I agree with that policy but obviously it is up to madge and sabrar to decide if that applies in this game. Regardless of mod position on it, I personally refuse to speculate on it and do my best to sever it from any of my considerations for reads
I will not address the subject further
Adum I'm just vocalizing possible worlds, I don't think you are the play today either way but all I'm saying is there are viable worlds where you are anti town and have this reaction especially in multiball rolemadness. I will be thinking more deeply on these issues assuming I live to next phase when I will have more info

Bout to go to a show so won't be around for a few hours.
everyone but especially Thea and secondarily Mak and Santy, mathematically it wouldve been best to no yeet yesterDay, now that saying this isn't effectively giving role info I'm wondering why none of your proposed it.
Thea, because they're explicitly on the record on a game I just read saying this, Mak and Santy because I consider them both as having "basics, elevated" play styles. I also think I remember Mak saying this before.

We dont know the setup to know for sure if no yeet was the correct play or not.
I think the only time I actually enforce no yeet as the correct move are in even almost fx scenarios. (See 6 players with 2 scum, or 4 players with 2 scum)
