You can see that yesterday I did say I was mixed. But biggest part is reading both Adum and Seven as town, which are the ones who have been pushing them, and I dont think no one else is trying to boost that push.
As, if Wam is town and Adum/Seven are two towns pushing that misyeet, why isnt mafia also helping there? Instead feels like there is a lack of wanting to push that slot or really adress Wam which feels weird to me.
Im not super sold in this read and might change later depending on how day proceeds, but its where my head is at rn

Also, for full transparency.
I think Fred pfp change matches the mason claim , sortof. As I remember looking it up aswell and apart of it being a yellow/golden ranger with some weird stuff, I do think it had a sister so it would fit with duo dynamics / breadcrumb.
And just claiming masons D1 even if to save a partner is like, very bold and risky, prob gamelosing for mafia to do. Unless if that yeet was worst scenario already.
My copium theory is the possibility of this being multiball and having two pairs of scum, thea/fred being one of them. But I dont have evidence to believe this other than my extreme antivibe with both thea and fred approach to this game/reads, which isnt something super scummy, so to say.
If not multiball , thea and fred are almost always town in my head. Adum and Seven I have just socially and just reactions and plays to the loud mech stuff today as just always town (with the nuance of also side-eyeing at people mentioning Adum having a good scum game or whatever as to instill slight doubts on adum or seven. Tbh they're just town).
For Mak I have some issues with their play but willing to sheep for the time being people calling them obvtown (thea, somi now) and just all the mech involvment and reaction of it being confusing as more likely town. Their read on me shielded and calling it OMGUS is kinda bad, just as it was the worst interaction/sus , and the adum/seven paranoia, but eh. Boxing them for now

JC / Bessie : Slots that are not cleared, but havent seen anything scummy. Specially bessie since I am not getting the reasons they are being sussed and overall gth to me they are town. JC has been less pushed, but also I dont have any particular reason to towlean them much, but gth im okay with them.
Moody / Somi / Wam : I think here is where I would yeet today. Wam or Moody maybe first. Somi I only have the good vibe with their D1 . But if Im willing to concede I was wrong on Wam D1 , maintaining the somi read which was weaker aswell is a bit silly

@Bessie, mind giving me some additional clarity?
You said you felt better about me towards the end of the day, mind quantifying that?
As in scumlean but less so, null, townlean, or town. Also what did you conclude I was based on giving it a lot of thought N1?
Also, anything that made changed your mind beginning of D1 before I popped in? I know that's only your first post toDay.
2. Your questioning me at EoD was natural to what I know of your thought process. I played a game a couple of years ago where I picked out scum on the first page, maybe in their OP. That person gave me extensive busywork the entire game. Like it took me hours every night to respond. And if I didn’t respond to every detail, it was “proof” of my scumminess. I did not get this feeling from your questioning.
4. Yes.
Gah, sorry I meant beginning of D2 before I popped in. (And a little similar detail on that if so).

I had the most manic pixie dream girl moment last night, I was wearing an aggressively pink outfit and then I found a goddamn flower crown (like, a professionally made fresh flower crown a bride would wear to a wedding) on the floor, which perfectly coordinated.
What I didn't do was update the vote counts after getting home, but what else is new?
update: moments after writing those words, I reached into my giant, very full mug of hot chocolate instead of my tiny bowl of astonishingly expensive vegan m&ms, so this morning is off to a very different start
Votals:
Bessie - 3 - Wam, Makhaira, Thea
Wam - 1 - Santygrass
Not voting: Adum, JC, Moody, Seven, Somi, Fred, Bessie
11 players alive and 7 to hammer.
It is now Day 2. Night 2 starts in about three days, see countdown:

This is 7am China time on Wednesday the 13th of November, which is 11pm (Tues) in London and 6pm (Tues) in New York.

Oh and you never explained why you thought that Mak would've realized the wood/grrr list was serious content hiding behind jokes instead of just jokes.
I thought Mak had played with me enough and was used to my dry wit and odd sense of humor (which is a lot like moody’s, which is why I get him). I ponder over all the game content. I agonize over making good quality posts where I try to convey my thoughts either in a straightforward manner, or in a way that my sarcasm is detectable. I think Mak needs to play with me more often.
I'm gonna say I think this is fair and explains your thought process. I 100% think that it wasn't scummy for Mak to call it out, but your thought process seems genuine, so I don't think you reacting the way you did was potentially scummy anymore.

Curious that you accept Adum as confirmed non-town. Why haven’t you elaborated on this? Who do you think is scum with Adum.
I mean, yeah, I know this is pizazz and everything but at that point I haven't seen anything to cast doubt on that loud result. As we now know, Seven was speficially trying to allude to the conflicting result he apparently has, but I didn't pick up on that. I'm not good with crumbs.
Then why didn’t you vote for Adum!?
somitomi wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 10:47 pm
Seven wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 1:26 am
For the record, I don't think Adum is cleared. I just think that the results nullify each other until we have more information. They should be ignored and we should read him by his play. If it's true that he was the night kill target, that would be a point in his favor, and clearing if we are dealing with one scum team.
I could see godfather!Adum having the same reaction to the results today if he was targeted by an insane cop.
Finally, I was just about to ask you why the loud result is more likely to have been tampered with than yours.
Nonetheless, I do have the feeling Adum's reaction is more likely to come from town than scum, but I'm not at all certain if that makes you town as well.
Interesting! Please explain how you accept Adum as town, but not Seven for derailing Adum’s elimination!

Ok, more cards on the table.
I had a TMI read on Bessie, over her reaction (well lackthereof really) to the mod role message that I'm non-town because I think it's not a "reasonable to anticipate moderator lie" and because she had me as scummy on her last woof/grrr list. I would've expected her to support my elim, not necessarily vote.
However, on second thought I remembered feeling like Bessie was gradually warming up to me over the course of our conversation so I wanted to ask her for commitments about the timings. Which I got from this phase of questioning, that she felt a lot better about my slot after our interactions makes it make sense that she didn't support it.
Also, looking back at her slot, EGW mentioned in last Halloween how Bessie tends to have a tonal difference as scum, more vicious and I'm inclined to agree because I think I saw this modding Dancer.
Furthermore, her explanation of why she thought Mak would realize her first woof/grrr list was genuine reads under jokes reads genuine.
I'm pretty positive Bessie is a town puppy this game *gives pets to good puppy*
I wasn't addressing Wam because I didn't want to disturb the Bessie/Wam reactions. I think ultimately it's kind of moot because I don't see scum-bessy here, but because I had individual scum reads on them at the time I wanted to get a feel, because it initially read as potentially unpaired.
But basically, my read from last game day stands on Wam. I'm also noting that yes, Thea was correct that his play does read different than his play in the town games I've seen of him, specifically more organized.

First, would you mind walking through your thought process as far as why me worrying about the possibility of you being Indy doesn't fit me being town.
My understanding of where your suspicion that I am non-town comes from is that I was town-reading you despite the conflicting results. Town!Seven should not know whether their result is accurate or the public result is accurate, yet they have been treating Adum as if he were town and that the public result is false. From this oddity, it would be fair for you to suspect that I am a non-town entity attempting to pocket you.
However, as town!Adum, the non-town entity you should suspect Seven of being is Mafia, not Indy, due to the difference in priorities between the two. The priority of an Indy would be to avoid the spotlight and allow chaos to reign. Claiming JOAT puts a spotlight on the player, increasing the odds of their being night killed by Mafia. Additionally, preventing a quick elimination of a player would be counterproductive to their goals and have negative consequences if said player did indeed end up being Mafia.
If Seven were mafia, however, claiming their role carries less risk since they wouldn't have to worry about being night killed. Additionally, they would be more inclined to believe their result is correct since Adum not being Mafia significantly reduces the odds that the not-town result is correct.
As mafia!Adum, you would know that Seven treating their result as the correct one does not stem from them being Mafia, therefore you would be more inclined to speculate that the oddity derives from indy!Seven.
AdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 2:09 amSecondly, setup-wise, talk to me about the loud copping. If they can do it every day, I'm worried something is off.
If they are Town and can do it every day, then Town currently has too much clearing power with JOAT, Cop, and Masons; even with the Insane element and Traffic Analyst. I'd speculate that there probably
is a Godfather (of which you would be my current best candidate for given the above). We don't have enough information to say yet though. Scum may just have other strong powers to counter Town's forces. If Santy has a killing ability, I would also be very much in favor of him using it on Fred so we can determine if the Mason claim is real, or if we are dealing with multiball.

After seven providing what they have I think you need to lay your hand on the table especially with the unusual number of targets on you last night atleast from what we can discern
Forgot this.
No. My rationale for providing what I did is for kills analysis but confirming anything further about my role will make it useless to town. The only reason I would do that is if I was actively about to be yeeted otherwise.
