I was going to ask if it included dance music (as in, a music genre called "dance music"), but then I realised I got dance and trance mixed up.

Because the first round she did on Discord wound up taking something like two and a half months thanks to industrial-grade procrastination and somewhere along the line people (including her) just kinda agreed she probably shouldn't host again.

The thing about disqualified entries is that they have an advantage in the scores because everyone who did vote had to assign them points. Even if pulsie and somi had assigned the entries below them fairly low scores, it's still likely they would have been overtaken.

Since it is still November and thus NaNoWriMo, the theme for the next round is Writing. This is to be interpreted fairly broadly, so songs about adjacent topics such as words, books or stories are also welcome. The deadline is the 29th of November.
