I kinda get what you mean about Wam but I'm not entirely sold here, dont think he's the play here

Gonna be real, town keeps losing games here because we are playing with no consideration for building winning endgame coalitions. We need to stop doing that. Not trying to be a jerk but there are some players in here with abysmal track records making the right call in endgame and Im frankly sick of losing over and over the same way

Should be fred or wurst today, I'm fine with bessie but I'm not sure she will be as popular a pick. Interested to see if fred comes thru with a decent alternative case before deadline
I don't think you've ever played with the worst, but he is a long-standing veteran that you want in that coalition. His D1 play is always a bit Ducky.

Or maybe I'm not parsing these quotes correctly
Not true. I posted a Woof-Grr list with reasons. Have you done the same?
Your woof/grrr list was based on reactions to Madge not doing confirmation posts and reactions to your reactions. It even included the mods on the bottom.

Yes, you posted one but trying to use this against an accusation of filler content is disingenuous.
AdumbroDeus wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 3:35 pm Bessie: Their engagement in the game lacks substance. The only things that's come of it with scum hunting significance was the freddino conversation which frankly was purely by accident and "why not respectful?". Willing to elim out of nullness.
I disagree that my content lacks substance. My content lacks volume; you are confusing the two.

No, you have volume, consolidated into a few posts. You lack substance, as in substance for the game. I enjoyed talking Joyce with you, but it's not actually game relevant.

AdumbroDeus wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 5:00 pm Thea: null, I'm sympathetic to Santy's argument that it's play that would help scum more than town, but given it's not only not a one off and consistent after drew suspicion I think it's some type of Seven like play with some specific benefit intended from it.

Still, if it's gonna continue and they don't find a way to use it to express more nuanced game specific context they're just a burden on the game and should be yeeted.
I disagree with this. Thea’s intent is understandable to those willing to read her content with an open mind. I think this is a lazy read and I think the issue you have with it is either (1) a manufactured issue, or (2) it differs from what you are used to seeing, and you are having trouble processing it so your reaction is negative.
Ok, tell me specifically WHY Thea townreads me and explain how their reaction quote conveys that.

Yes. I feel Thea’s self-imposed post restriction is something she is doing for fun, possibly for role playing. If it is role playing, I currently have no hope in figuring it out so I’m not even going to try. If the gambit is to gather information, I am willing to wait and see her conclusions. And while I am waiting, I am using the reactions to her content to refine my own reads.

I think her reaction to the backlash has been townie.

For the record, I didn't even see your post about you shielding Wam until after I voted. Though I'm not sure if it would have affected whether or not I voted.

What in specific about their reaction to the backlas did you like?

Unvote Thea
Vote Fred

Think Im okay with this. Fred has given us close to nothing and not yeeting them because of potential to be more easy to solve later is just not it for me.

Thea there is a sliver of chance going by one post they did that the restriction is role-indicative or will be off tomorrow maybe. But idk.

Today yeet should be between Fred/Thea/Seven

Doesnt change my issue with you contesting my townread on Wam and providing no content whatsoever on why you scumread them.

You claim that initially you didnt saw my townread. Whatever.
Later you saw it and openly challenged/contested it, so the point you are making is moot and Im still holding you accountable for what you said.

And instead of giving insights on why you are scumreading someone, you decided to instead start rereading thread ad ignoring/posponing my request all together. Which just indicates to me that your scumread on Wam was just fake and you arent focused on yeeting them / actually believe in it

Votals:
the worst - 4 (wam, somi, thea, mak)
Fred - 2 (moody, santy)
wam - 1 (Seven)
Thea - 2 (adum, the worst)

Not voting: Bessie, Fred, JC

With 12 players alive it's 7 votes to hammer.

Interesting. I take it, then, you were going to attempt to play the game, or at least the phase, without knowing your alignment, but your curiosity got the better of you? This leads me to suspect that you kept receiving messages by your scum mates. I suspect that if you had just received the one message from the game start, you would have been able to hold onto the playing-blind attempt, but that receiving multiple messages inadvertently revealed to you that you were scum and nudged you toward the temptation of checking.

Vote: Fred

That lines with your “not reading” DW post as well.

Specially considering that for thea you only voted them sheeping me.
And this was your last post/read regarding Fred .
(In which you just unvoted to just sheep Adum's vote, on a scumread Im waiting you to actually justify the reasoning and you arent providing)

alright im back way less tilted now

sorry for the aggro worst but I cannot stand people claiming victim status when their own poor play or lack of contribution makes their own slot elim bait. especially on D1 is is literally being like wahhhhhh I hate consequences for not contributing wahhhhh like its insufferable just apologize for not carrying your weight and move on, if you're actually town you can play better and make up for it, scum always want to pin blame on others and argue D1 schelling points are "lazy" and "bad play" as convenient excuses to shame other people out of holding a slot accountable for being dead weight

anyway moving on, worst actually contributing and engaging with other slots without me chastising the slot reads town to me. atleast worst showed up for deadline, fred didnt

Vote: Fred

Could also go for bessie here, havent liked any of her posts tbh

thea push is wild to me and I cant wait to get on for saying this if its a red flip but I think town!thea knows she is racking up cred debt and will have to pay in interest next phase and we can read based on that eventual payout. I dont think scum!thea creates a free schelling point on herself by doing this bit, its like too blatantly antitown and from what little scumplay ive seen from thea doesnt fit this approach. not saying its out of a range just riskier than Id expect

100% think bessie and fred are better plays, so if we're all doing vetos I veto the thea wagon, trust

Fred always plays like this early on. As Adum said, he'll get more readable as the game goes on and his reads end up being the most accurate of anyone.
