A game can be non-bastard and experimental; these two items are not mutually exclusive. And either can be unbalanced (reference: Impromptu Mafia).

Not really. Why do you make a throwaway comment instead of digging into why I made that remark?

Yes and I will even explain a strategy for accomplishing this task. You can give us your thoughts on the game so far.

Though I can see how my question about how to balance a 7-player game and my question to the mods about whether there are 2 same-aligned mafia seemed to be the same topic, they are separate matters. Though the latter did occur to me from thinking about the former.

That being said, I'm not sure why you wouldn't assume so. The OP states it's non-bastard and Madge has made it clear in the past when a setup is experimental.

btw welcome to the "high" poster club. how does it feel?
What were you hoping to gain from this? I can't imagine a situation where the mods would reveal this sort of setup information if it weren't already in the OP.

Yes, MWA (aka Wam) in the flavor only speaks using their name. Wam is pretending to have this as a posting restriction.

If you're referring to the question I asked the mods, it's because I consider there being a single town/uninformed majority and at least 1 informed minority (consisting of 2 or more players) to be the skeleton of mafia. Regardless of how experimental, these two conditions ought to be met. I wanted to confirm that they were indeed met.

I don't have much of those at the moment. Things feel a bit slow, but I can't tell if that's because they are or because I got used to the faster pace of some other sites.

Well, waiting to make that expectation clear until the game had already started was a good choice then.

Vote LaserGuy
This is a completely joke vote and has no basis.

Any reason that you asked about this response but not my similar response hereabouts?

FWIW, I think that it's fairly obvious from context how Zen is reading heury and based on heury's reaction, I'm inclined to agree.

I'm leaning Town on heury based on that exchange. bessie seems okay so far. I'm kind of getting an indie vibe from Seven.

Yes, I expect if Seven was indy then they would make obvious public questions to the mod's about the balance concerns their role implied.

Understanding the upsidedown was always straightforward and easy to do in the show. And BoomFrog is famously straightforward as well.
