Like always, I don’t play during working hours (California).

It appears my husband has a gig at the same time as deadline. I will try to be available if I need to vote/change votes, but I won’t be available for comprehensive discussions as I’m not good at phone posting. And I will be in a bar with a band blasting music. And people will be trying to talk to me.

Music is a huge cultural blindspot for me. I didn't know where it was from until I looked it up. I guess it could have been a joke, but I feel like if it were a joke and it was obvious I didn't get it she would have acknowledged my comment.

I do think you are correct. My presumption was influenced by my experience and therefore biased by my own generational and regional contexts.

It can be inferred from your response that you and Madge are unpaired. This requires several steps of reasoning that I do not wish to expend cognitive resources on conveying.

Funnily enough I get a solid town ping from this.

EGW is a dancer. It is unfair that I am able to read his alignment off of a single post (if you do not believe this, see AI mafia), so I will be stepping away for the remainder of the day in order to allow EGW to play the game and his team to gain a foothold.

I do recall discussion about the polarization of his play, mostly thinking that it sounded really bad to have town play so distinguishable from scum play.

bessie's response to theallizea's confirm post is funny considering the mostly non-serious stance that exclamation point=scum in those.

No. She did this as third party scum before, Bessie pointed out that she was joking when I had a problem with her lack of follow up. Example below:
