Seven's reads that correctly implied Bessie and Santy, while having Madge as an alternate solve. To my knowledge at that point, Seven was the only person to have a strong negative read of Santy and a scummy read on Madge.

NKA is a slippery slope. Seven could have been killed because he was most strongly pushing Santy/bessie as a team and was clearly a town leader. I was town leaning Santy. And not killing Wam leaves open the possibility of a WIFOM Thea/Wam team down the line. Seven was townreading Madge for the nearly the whole game, including in the post you're referencing. He also had JC as 97% scum.

As for JC, there are many slips that I do not care to go back and find, but another part is past experience: I've only ever seen JC act like this as town. When shown that he has consistently bad reads, JC tries to step out so that stronger players can have more time to make a solve. Having done this before myself, and knowing that going belly-up is mildly against the rules if JC were scum; I believe that JC is just Vanilla Town who got hoodwinked pretty early on.

I think the best thing JC has going for him is that he was locked on the somi wagon in D2. So was Madge. bessie and Moody were against.

If she were to do that, it would be a de facto confession, so it wouldn't happen. JC is suspect #1 for me obviously, but we are in no rush this day so let the content roll. I have some recollections about bessie vis a vis JC that I want to check out later, but that's a project for the evening.

JC elim is the only rational move here, take the time to chat if you want but I actually thing madge has the right sentiment here in that we should not give additional reads beyond JC to make it tough for scum, assuming it's not just JC, to make a kill that helps them set up the endgame coalition they think they can win

Flip JC and it's prob gg, if it's not I promise big time effort to help the last two townies solve the endgame and will take full responsibility for the loss if we fail

But yeah agree with everyone else - just don't see how town!JC could act so scummy and I feel kinda bad waiting around lol.

@Moody: while I agree in principal that we should be talking/etc to get more material for a tomorrow that may never come, I'm additionally loathe to go through anything vaguely stressful at EoD again, so I'm going out and saying that if at 5 hours before deadline I will be willing to hammer assuming there's no obvious reason not to.

Cynical View is saying that after making sure JC heard from her N1, she didn't feel the need to direct him in thread, and when she came under suspicion D3 she distanced the hell out of him, and I think he might have a point, mostly about the D3 lack of activity.
