I'm not sure why you believe I lied about disagreeing with public votes for deadline extensions. I believe the possibility of extending the phase is necessary. I stated that here:

Why is this scum indicative? This is my analysis of mafia and something I have stated in prior games. I believe that the start of the game and the EoDs are the critical parts of the game, everything in between is just about getting from one point to the next.

She gets away with lying way too much and that won her and Bessie Baldur's Gate mafia.

Actually, telling the truth won me Baldur's Gate. Laser had a recent insight that I don't seem to gambit when I'm mafia. It's really simple to get by when you're playing in a conformative manner.

Mak is taken out N1, more than likely because it would be a coin flip on whether EGW or Thea get protected so taking out Mak makes sense there.

Day 2 EGW claims Tree Stump and Wam soft claims a read on Seven, Wam needs to go but can't risk EGW having more than a one shot, so taking out EGW is priority.

Seven claims cop with a guilty on Bessie, Wam counter claims and clears Seven as a VT. Makes me feel like the gambit wasnt to elim Bessie, putting herself on the block, but to get Wam to claim and share his read officially so it "clears" her through endgame.

A miselim this day phase, another tomorrow, and scum wins.

Interesting! For the record, George's ability was a N1 ability only. He wasn't able to use it anymore.

For the record, a Godfather would not show up as "Vanilla Town" to a Vanilla Town cop. (Unless wam received clarification that it would). It is an illogical interpretation of the role and I believe Adum would see it as such.

I feel like JC is probably Town here. His play just feels so disconnected from everyone else it's really hard for me to believe he is actually paired with someone.

Santy is kind of a toss-up for me. I really like their content D3 and they come across as very authentic. OTOH, I am reasonably certain that they are a far better player than I am and I think there's a decent chance they could snow me easily. I still find Somi's play to be quite scummy. Though if Seven is Town I am somewhat less inclined to believe in scum!somi.

Which leaves the scum team as moody, bessie, and I guess Madge? I have higher confidence in Fred's townslip than Madge's and bessie is very unlikely to push Fred the way that she has as a teammate.

Ehhh , in my head JC and bessie were pushing Seven with similar arguments nuances so it was something I was keeping track of. But idk if its recency bias but I can see the stubborn town tone and its tripping me on my PoE / possible solves, since if JC is town I feel game is def a bit more hard.

For example the team you propose of Moody/Madge/Bessie would imply that when the votecount was 5 Gluelock and 3 Moody , Madge was townreading and against the Gluelock wagon, and Bessie just didnt care and voted Fred. Feels like a team that didnt felt moody was in danger.
Probably the people present in that EoD can correct me if wrong, but there wasnt a feeling that moody was safe that EoD right for the scum team to act that way if its the case?

If scum cant communicate like usual then my EoD read regarding Moody is just poopoo LoL . Now Fred saying it was bad communication kinda has more strenght too

In our games sometimes we play where mafia can chat in day and night, sometimes night only. Some games this is stated in the rules, others, as with this one, it isn't.

AFAIK, everyone so far who has alluded to this seemed to be working under the assumption that mafia had daychat.

I think daychat is slightly more common night only in recent years. When I first started playing *mumble* years ago it was probably >90% night chat only.

Got it , ty for clarification. I'll think about it, but that being a real slip kinda makes the pieces fit (Moody being scum and the team D1 being discoordinated both ring true if the slip is real)

FWIW, I found it very difficult to get any traction or interest in votes for moody. With EGW and Seven pushing hard for Glue and all three of bessie/moody/madge in the thread for EoD, I think they probably had room to move if needed.

bessie's preference is always to vote her strongest scumread regardless of the thread state. She will move her vote to secure an elimination when necessary and regardless of her alignment probably expected to have to do so.

Noted , appreciate the insight regarding Moody traction there. I'll add it to the pile of homework and stuff to reread and check (spoiler Im going to procastinate it all hmmyes)
