It means that Laserguys claim to be the chosen neighbor is a lie, I was the one picked. I'm trying to figure out what that means though.

You should at least know your targets or be able to query the mods for them. That's necessary for mass-claims.

Also *adds using RNG for targets outside of the few situations it's objectively helpful into "meta to talk about post-game" file*

@Seven, even if you picked at random, you would still know who you ultimately targeted, no? Idk what your rng method was but say you flipped a coin, youd know the result of the selection and then would have had to execute it by submiting the action to the mods. Are you claiming that you told the mods to randomize it for you and they faithfully executed that service for you with telling you what was ultimately executed?

Laser was lying about the lack of chat history too for whatever reason. I can read what they talked about and ftr, Seven was mostly honest about how the conversation with EGW went. They did omit an important part of the conversation though, but I'd rather not expose the details because its about Seven's role.

Im not seeing anything in the OP that clarifies what happens if someone fails to submit a night action. My prior assumption is that no submission before deadline = no action will be taken, and only in the event that someone had a compulsory role would a night action be randomized and executed by the mod in the event that no action is submitted by the player

If anyone sees this rule clarified somewhere that I missed please let me know

Now that you mention it, Laser might have done it to obfuscate who the real neighbor is and I ruined it by claiming. (If thats the case, then my b LG!).

I did it in a trance state. I practice a technique that essentially allows me to execute a predetermined set of actions while unconscious. It's very useful for getting through mundane repetitive tasks like chores. It's like going to sleep and waking up with your house clean.

That wording here is pinging me something crazy. If Laser is not in fact in the neighbour chat, he had to make the answer up based on information in the thread (like say, this post from Seven). But you didn't say he's wrong, you said he's "lying for whatever reason" when from your point of view that reason should be clear: he doesn't know what you know.

It was either very late at night or very early in the morning and I had just woken up + already had it in my mind that George was Doc so didn't consider the possibility of George targeting him.
