I see why Seven gambits, this shit is fun. Not the result I had hoped for, but an interesting argument for nullvoting on the side of Madge. The issue is, from Moody's perspective, the only reason he wouldn't vote me is if I am lying town. In all other situations, voting me off is a winning strategy.

So there it is, a full read through on both the remaining players, and at this point it's slightly more in Madge's favor. Personally, if she is scum, she has more than earned the win. Fred's attempt to emulate Seven was a distraction, and it had zero chance of obtaining the result he wanted.
He may as well have ignored that one post of Madge's and claimed doc to get a better chance at being NKed. Of course with the scumteam being who it would be in that case, they would have known for sure that protective role=stumper who they had already taken off the board.
Only thing left for me to do is actually make the vote once all the other readings trickle in.

No.
Unless it explicitly says you may read, it's for post game.

Oh my god, that's my magnum opus. I think this is the best case I can feasibly make. It's all real and genuine, I didn't leave anything out.
Bessie would never have bussed Fred so hard out of the gate if they were scummates, but this is me doing my best.
I'm gonna drop my mic now I think. Any more posts I make, absent an extension, will just be anger and frustratrion and idiot moody ruining everything for us again GRRRRRRRRR
(when really he's winning it for town, but shhh)
I hope you all enjoyed my play. I hope Somi and Bessie and Santy are all proud of me.
I *know* if we win this I'll never make it past D3 again because people are scared of this happening, and I *know* this will piss people off.
TBH I think Moody won't be able to justify voting for me, and will vote for Fred. There's really not much I can do about Bessie's vote for Fred on D1. I'm hoping my Santy/Somi coaching theory is flashy enough to distract.

*looks at Fred's Gojoe Commentary*
Mak may save town yet, (Town is lucky he's a sharp player) but Fred is so radically mishandling this phase it's impressive. It would be one thing if he was dismissing madge's case as flailing for public relations in the thread, but, not only is it an EXTREMELY sharp way to disort events, it's very mechanically focused so it looks a lot like town madge solving.
If Fred convinces Moody to vote before Mak has a chance to finish his reread, things look very grim for town.
At least Fred going full Iago is fun for the audience!

meant to be

also, lol, Fred really isn't going to defend himself? If he loses it for Town because of that I'd be PISSED

Also if Fred wasn't lying about his claim after all, and that's the reason he's being so chill, I'll be pissed. I spent a lot of time on my case and that was with the understanding that it would make a difference in the game. If Fred knows town wins whichever way moody votes, then he's wasted my time and moody's and that's not cool.

This came up during Dancers, how do people feel about dead players (particularly ones that are trusted mods) doing votecounts for mods that are busy?
I bring this up because I wasn't able to find a comod for dancer and my schedule was unfortunately rather difficult but I worried about the possibilities of perception of impropriety, but Bessie noted in the Green room that it was occasional past practice.
Which is why I wanted to discuss it.

Halloween 2024
Spoiler (Show/Hide)
hahaha I struggled with the flavour so the servants of the hawk king vs the chrono gardeners was in a bit of an earlier draft, and then I dropped the chrono gardeners thing from the town role PMs, sticking instead with each character having a Magic Item that Hawking needs, but now people are suspecting multiball because of the mention of two factions plus town PMs having no mentions of their alleigance to either.
my favourite thing about this setup is the way the cop works, it was my first idea right out of the gate and Sabrar needed very little convincing
my second favourite thing about this setup is the fact we have THREE Doctors, from Dr Who. Two are town, one is scum, and they all are more or less identical JOAT. when Santy signed up me and Sabrar had already struggled to come up with a role to accomodate The Worst, so I went back to the role I suggested 3 times (and once as a JOAT power), which he declined, and then I said "let's add a third identical JOAT", what could go wrong?
also the Hawk King pun is from the novel Flatterland

Halloween 2024, the background for how the flavour came about (players may not read):
Spoiler (Show/Hide)
I don't know if people enjoy peeks behind the curtain like this but here we go. I do find that once I actually put pen to paper (metaphorically on both counts), it gets easier. The first idea is always struggletown.
