Anyways, its also pretty plausible that Wam is just in antispew . see their last readlist just dont pointing at anyone in particular, or have any sort of weigh on their own of the PoE slots

It's wild that so many people targeted Adum, what a popular guy.
True last Halloween too! What can I say, I'm just popular! *Sparkles*
Jack of all Trades used their [cop] power last night

Jack of all Trades targeted [adum] last night

[Traffic Analyst] has been inherited by the Backup

[Adum] is [non-Town]
From this, we can infer that the Insane Publishing Cop did not do the kill. As scum, they would want to use their ability to miselem a towny. Having Adum flip in the same night they used their ability on him would have revealed their hand for no gain.

I don't think the second JOAT did the kill either given that they are Loud. It would point to them when claims eventually happen.

So I think either Wam's team did the kill or there is a ninja as he suggested.
Given that I was so townread... Eeeeh why is the publishing cop targetting me at all? The cop being so paranoid doesn't make sense here.

I know you're paranoid of me but especially if we're right on multiball I trust you. Thing is, if I'm right you're probably the only person who can both pick up on it and can do something about it.

@JC_Daddy do you believe that all the 3 Joats are town? Also, what in *specific* of Wam claim made you townread them ? Just because of the fact that they are JOAT? And a Joat type that doesnt match with the other 2 we have info from, no less!!

@seven

Based on who Wam thinks you might know him to be, would it be a character that would be considered scum?

Also, do you know what the payout thing does

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt same as I'm giving Seven, because we don't know who the third joat is and whether they are the scum.

The fact that Wam isn't loud is why I'm not completely sold on them, but that doesn't make them or Seven a priority for me to elim. I'm actually becoming more concerned with your play being similar to how you played last game.

Do you think Seven and Wam are the same in regards to townyness for real? Like, dont you see any difference in the context they claimed and what said claim achieved to see one more towny than the other?

Yes, I do see a difference, which is why Seven isn't in my PoE at all. I just don't see myself eliminating someone I think has a better chance to be town than someone I don't.

JC_DADDY25 wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 10:51 pm Going by what we know so far, as long as Seven isn't lying and The and Fred are indeed masons, this leaves us with the following names to sort through. I'm leaving my name off since I know I'm town, but feel free to throw me in the mix if you feel the need to.

Somi
Moody
Bessie
Santy
Wam

From those five, I have to say Seven's list earlier of Wam, Santy, and Moody is possible. I've been getting town vibes from Santy, but I've been wrong before so I'm not doubling down on those feelings.

-The offvibes I was getting from Wam are explainable if he and Santy are neighbors/Masons.
-Upon rereading, I like that he switched votes soon after sheeping Santy. That sort of vote hopping is more town indicative to me.
With these being your thoughts that lead you to scum read Wam...

Could the offvibes be if they were both scum, since we know they aren't masons/neighbors?

Could the vote hopping be because they didn't want to seem paired?
JC_DADDY25 wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 4:05 am Right now I'm leaning toward voting for Wam.

Out of the people that are left on my list of non town: Mak, Bessie, and Santy feel more towny to me than Somi, Moody, and Wam. So that's where I'm looking at.
JC_DADDY25 wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 6:38 pm With Wam's claim in willing to hold off on eliminating him, though my first thought was role cop when he described his results. Also curious as to why his results were not loud like the other two joats

You practically dont mention any post at all from them that you like or dislike. The only mention of his social play is to try to pair them with me. So actually, yes you better go and write me a damn thesis of your thoughts on Wam's post in this game precious to the claim

The flavor isn't tied to alignment. Like how in the last halloween game I was the most evil thing (basilisk) but was town. Wam, the other JOAT, and I ware all Doctor Who.

Seven wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 12:01 am I think Somi should go next. I don't see town paying that little attention to everything. It's rather extreme.
Its the opposite. As scum is much more easy to not be up to date on social stuff that happened, but clarity on night actions is much more easy to have as town.
I think you accidentally a word.

But yes, in theory. The thing is the social stuff ties into the role stuff, so it's also easy to fail to notice social things that lead to role things if they're behind on social things.
For example in Scum!wam worlds, the fact that wam claimed to know there is 3 JOATs should be something present on any scum. Somi is totally oblivious to that, and is solving/making connections with the sparse information they have. It reads as uniformed which is more towny than scummy
In this case, I think it depends on the setup. Wam says they specifically saw two other JOATs visit me. ScumWam's partner would know, but in a world with two teams, the other team wouldn't have special insight unless they found.

That suggests unpaired and not necessarily town.

For the record, I don't think it's likely that you're scum, it's just a possibility. The cop targeted you for the same reason I did. I was town reading you at the end of the day, but knowing for sure vastly makes the game easier. I think you're underestimating how scary the possibility of scum!Adum feels lol. Fully agree ! Im not assuming its multiball until there is either proof of it or see not possible solve that isnt multiball. (Also I know that looking at flavour and how game feels is plausible for it to be multiball , but assuming it is, is not the correct play solving wise)
