@Mod: What happens if a resurrection would happen at noon but a hammer occurs before then?

Hammer causes it to be Night time immediately with no further voting or posting.

The player in the resurrection queue will be resurrected after the hammer (this will be announced in thread) and able to take night actions that night and post the following day as normal. This is true even if the extra player would increase the number of votes to hammer.

In practice it may look like this:

Sabrar has been eliminated by the group vote.

Madge has been resurrected and may take night actions tonight.

It is now night. Deadline is in X hours.

So my initial thinking is that we should try to hammer before noon because a) we have the most town influence currently and b) if there IS only one mafia left, the game would end if we eliminate them (if I recall correctly ?)

If all opposing factions are dead, then yes, the game would end even if someone can rez.

With that in mind, I'm putting Moody at Laser-minus-One. I still think Moody/Wam are the team, and will go either way. Although Somi/Wam is possible.. Neh I still don't think somi would have claimed to have revived Suzaku, or even revived him in the first place as mafia. Also I think moody wanting to wait until one of his scum reads revives is mafia wanting to wait until there's another viable elimination candidate, essentially giving maf a free night kill if that person is eliminated again.

That's part of the reason I was thinking a lot about you/jimbob last day. I was thinking it was possible that 1) you were hoping that if bessie were eliminated I would probably drop the idea because she was the one pushing it and/or had a result that suggested it or 2) you correctly guessed that I had a rez and wanted to keep me around in the hopes that I would use it on jimbob.

I was thinking over JimMafia scenarios for good measure, but I forgot he can't be scum with anyone but me due to being night killed N2. Additionally, he isn't scum with Wam because it wouldn't make sense for Wam to go at me so aggro D3 as lone mafia. He also probably isn't mates with Moody because of his choice of Moody over Pat (a Mafia Cop) Day 2 despite my insistence.

Laser with anyone would mean the game would essentially be over.

Wam went aggro at me D2 because I was pushing the Moody is Boom's Legacy campaign.

Do cult members flip with the cult alignment? I was thinking there was a small chance that Suzaku was indeed the cult recruit based on being a Zombie, and the 0 cult members just happened to coincide with the fact that Zeniba was eliminated.

I feel like they should but this game has messed with my expectations in a lot of ways.

Morning. I am as surprised as Seven that LaserGuy is still alive. He's still not Mafia though in my opinion.

To try to answer the discussion point from the thread:

Was Suzaku Cult or Town at the time of his second death? I'm assuming the town bit is the faction and "Cult Cop" his role. Please confirm!

Assuming Suzaku was Town, then Zeniba was Cult Leader with an unfortunate track record of failed recruits. If she does get rezzed, I think we'll have to ignore her in favour of Mafia, since 3-2-1 would become 2-2-0 on a Zeniba elimination, or 2-1-1 or 3-1-0 on a Mafia one (if her recruit fails or she's killed), or 1-1-2, worst case (not much Town can do about the latter, so Mafia should kill Zeniba in this case). 4-1-1 might become 3-0-2 if the recruit finally succeeds, and we successfully eliminate Mafia.

If Zeniba is rezzed post hammer, then Mafia know they have to kill her, or risk losing (unless we mis-elimmed again, in which case GG Mafia). Failing to do so potentially results in a Cult victory, I reckon. I'm therefore mostly okay with a power hammer as someone called it (as long as it's between wam, moody and Seven obviously).

LaserGuy isn't Mafia unless somitomi is his buddy, otherwise we're in 3-2, with the 2 having a voting power of 3, so could quickhammer anytime they chose. We are however potentially in a lim or lose situation.

I've got no decent reads at this point. My gut says Seven is the shot, but I'm scared by a wam/moody scum team. Will flick back over a few things before coming back.
