*THE MAFIA CHAMPIONSHIP - SEASON 12*

Hi there.

The 12th annual Mafia Championship will very soon kick off.

The first game will begin *April 21st*. I hope you will be there - as a player or spectator. We have over 1500 people who will be spectating the Championship on Discord (https://discord.gg/mafiauniverse).

The plan is for this season to feature *120-135 communities*.

*DO YOU WANT TO BE A FLAVOR WRITER FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?*

We already have some volunteers to be a Flavor Writer for the qualifier games, but we will need more, as well as Flavor Writers for the semifinals and finale game!

Note that Flavor Writers for a Championship game mainly involves writing and posting flavor (on time). The game is automated, and the tournament organizers will take care of posting the game thread and randing the game. So all you need to do is take care of the flavor and report back to the organizers if you feel that anyone is violating the rules or not fulfilling the activity requirements. The organizers will then take action.

Contact Arapocalypse (arapocalypse on Discord) if you are interested in being a Flavor Writer for a game. If there are more volunteers than needed, priority will be given to those with more extensive flavor writing experience.

Please note that as a new change this year, Flavor Writers will be expected to have the full game's flavor written before the game start. If you have any questions about this or how being a Flavor Writer works, reach out to Arapocalypse.

I think if Bessie is in the game, if she doesn't vote Heury, but flips scum, I'm likely to never vote for Kay or EGW, I'd rather vote for Heury at this moment in time.
It would be smart as mafia, to not take the easy vote, build trust elsewhere, get a vote from someone else, and make Heury look incredibly guilty. Why I am suspicious of Kay and EGW particularly as the partner in this case.

Kay: said bessie is town or not active if in the game, pushing the narrative, id say mildly likely given the above scenario.

EGW: Took a while to come around to the idea that Bessie was not in the game, missing the point of several messages that indicated such, then came around to the idea, so didn't post why it took them so long. Could be innocent, but makes me think they may have a scum chat with bessie and decided to play it cool. I will look for who pushes for Heury being the obvious mafia if the above scenario happens, especially if they rush to vote someone besides heury and say game solved.

On bessie accepted heury and Bessie flips scum, I think kay has neutral indication, and EGW still scummy.

Knew before the game that I wanted to vote right away and hopefully get a lock town with the added benefit of increasing chances of me staying in the game longer in a game where getting out quickly is the goal. So went ahead with that plan after getting my role PM. Though might make it extra hard to get voted out late game since most likely shooting myself in the foot trustwise right away.
