No specific objections on my part, but it looks to me like I came in penultimate place...?

heuristically_alone Gustav Holst - "Jupiter (1914-1916)" 4 - 2 3 4 13 1
commodorejohn Isao Tomita & Gustav Holst - "Mars, the Bringer of War (1914-1916)" - 4 1 4 3 12 2
Suzaku Trio Mandili - "Psalm 50 (8th Century BC)" 3 3 3 1 - 10 3

I've reprocessed those scores into our (more) usual format, because I was finding it hard to follow. Hopefully I've got it right.
It seems (based on my votes) that heury listed the ranks for each player, not the scores.

So congrats to heury on the win with Jupiter, and CJ you were second with Mars so have the next round.

Overall, though, I think we can declare one Gustav Holst the winner of this one.

Well okay, then :) I've been listening to a bunch of A Certain Artist's polka medleys, so the theme this time is genre flips, from Moog novelty Nirvana to mariachi Black Sabbath! While I'm specifically thinking of covers done in a different style than the original, one could also reasonably extend it to artists stepping outside their usual wheelhouse - the specifics I leave up to you! Submissions are due by Friday, April 4th!

A fine slate of madness! Deadline is the morning of Monday, April 15th - get your votes in before your taxes are due! But, um, maybe also do your taxes. And remember, you can vote even if you didn't submit an entry! But don't try that with your taxes.

Green Day was pretty much my jam when I was in high school and this cover made me wonder if someday the original will seem just as antiquated to people as the style of this cover does to me now

Thank you all! I honestly expected to see more PMJ tracks in the list.

Anyway, the next round.
This is a topic I've been thinking about for a while, but let me hear your protest songs.
It could be anti-war, anti-racism, pro-women's rights; general or specific; anything at all - give me something that makes me want to go out and throw stones at the establishment, or something that makes me want to weep for the injustice; essentially any song that's trying to get people to be better.
If it is about a specific event or non-obvious cause, a short summary (or a link to the same) would also be appreciated :).

Deadline is Monday night 2025-04-28 in my time, so everyone has a full weekend to submit.
