I can taste in my dreams. One particularly memorable instance was when I was eating chicken and pasta in the dream, had my mouth full of it, and then when I woke up my mouth was still full of the taste somehow.

I should probably actually check my dream journal to see if there's any mention of taste, rather than going by speculation I wrote in 2015.

I've looked through my dream journal and have found some dreams where I seem to be tasting things, e.g.

Then the pharmacy was along the east side of the store, and the NDA now had something to do with a drug. The pharmacist had a bottle of dark-brown liquid with a glass dropper attached to the lid. Ze opened up the bottle and squirted some such that drops of the drug landed all over the place, some of them in my mouth. It tasted bitter. I didn't want to take the drug yet, so I didn't like that ze was doing this.

Then there was a part where I had some type of candy. It was sort of a yellowish color, a bit of a brownish yellow maybe, and each piece was a slightly-rounded square that was thicker around the edge (kind of like some elevator buttons I've seen...). They came four to a package, arranged left-to-right, and all of them were different flavors; having new flavors and being surprised by what flavors you got was part of the point of this candy. There was a list of what flavors were in there, but it didn't say what order (intentionally), and many but not all of the flavors were, like, unpleasant smells. I ate the first one, which was some sort of toffee-related thing that smelled and tasted good, but then I smelled the others and was less sure I actually wanted to eat them.

…although it's possible that all of these are something more like knowledge about how a thing tastes without experiencing it.

This year and last year I have more dreams written down in my dream journal than nights so far.

My number of dreams seems to have increased this year, but it's still less than an average of one per night.

If it's increased, maybe it'll keep increasing.
Soon we'll just be dreaming all the time, every second of every day

I'd finally have my dream job (where I'm working at a computer, and it's for some reason running some weird amalgamation of different operating systems, and then it gives a weird error message that doesn't make sense…)

I'd talk about my dream house, but I'm not sure if there's actually much my dream houses have in common.

My house tends to be pretty normal in dreams, but my work/uni/school all seem to merge into one.

Places tend to vary a lot in my dreams. My house is usually house-like, and might be roughly the same as my real-life house... or completely different.

One of my dream homes (2021-01-04) was like my regular house, but I'd moved into the guest bedroom, and there were drips coming from the ceiling. Then I went to where my bedroom would be, but instead it was just an opening to the room below (which was two floors high). I swung on a rope to get somewhere.
