I would also be careful still with clearing the cops. I'll probably be around and put some thoughts tonight. But with 3 clears~ and only one scum (and one mark) we should be in a pretty good position

I think you should be the one jailed, and JC tracks one of the cops here IMO

Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 4
I mean there's no world where Phillip is coordinating with madge, and I doubt claiming a mark is in his scumrange. Maybe cops cop each other and I get jailed?
Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 4
Suppose madge just threw out the mark as a distraction, and phillip jumped on the opportunity because he was the last to claim. I'm not going to lose to a non-participating player if I can avoid it, we have no idea what is in their scum-range (Bop could have taught them extensively D3).
Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 3
If EGW is scum he is from Berseria, but also aligned with Shepherd. somitomi checking him will produce no real result.
If somitomi is scum he is aligned with Shephered, but also from Berseria. EGW checking him will produce no real result.
Conclusion: cops should only check each other as a last resort.

Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 4
Like, if its fake no one else is going t get marked pretty simple.
You are more likely going to lose the game on the assumption that the cops are always town because that is what makes sense in your head as a setup than the convoluted evil mastermind phillip being coached and lying in specific ways theory, for example.
Bop believing Frog with such ease (in a way tha made *you* Sabrar think they were the cop even) , can point pretty easily to them having one cop as partner. Somi to me fits really well, and heury/bessie is onto EGW with some valid points (in my mind is mostly Bop never really pushing EGW despite them being in a pretty poor position)
Suppression scum with an arsonist condition is likely to have something that lets them /survive/ , be that either a good fakeclaim or even investigative protection, remember to take that into consideration

Last scum should be from Tales Of Berseria (I would bet its Arthur, fits the most as host to Innonimat or whatev is called)Sabrar wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 5:28 pmIf EGW is scum he is from Berseria, but also aligned with Shepherd. somitomi checking him will produce no real result.

If somi checks them and the result is Berseria, not Zestiria as they claimed they are outed.
Likewise with somi, Arthur should *NOT* be aligned with Lord of Calamity, so EGW checking somi and getting a Not aligned with Lord would also be outing

Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 4
The Lord of Calamity in Berseria is Velvet (aka Heury role) .
Last scum is from Berseria and not aligned with Lord of Calamity. (Arthur is the Shepard of Berseria even, and last scum . In the games their main evil objective was to revive Innonimat or something along those lines)

If yeeting you doesn't end the game and the cops clear phillip then I promise I will reread.

somi checks alignment, and EGW checks game, not vice versa. Unless I'm completely misremembering.Santygrass wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 5:56 pm If somi checks them and the result is Berseria, not Zestiria as they claimed they are outed.

@somitomi: would you have that complete claim-list you mentioned earlier?

Re: Tales of Desolation mafia Day 4
Im okay with being yeeted. So why dont you assume Im town and still hear me out? Im p confident that checking phillip is a waste of time. First because I strongly townread them (from hippo slot) , and second because mechanically they will be likely cleared the moment another Mark shows up, so its pretty simple to let them be on hold for a night and see what happens.
Bop had no way to coach them into taking the suppression mark thingy because they should've been assming that as dead scum Madge would help heury for example. Its like a super stretch. In almost all scenarios to me phillip is just town . Your assumption that the cops should be town is more broad/unfounded there 100% .
F.e. Suppression scum cop can still align with the town cop to help out the Malevolence mafia, which is the one that has more power in being able to kill directly during the night, and provides a scum that cant kill the people tha threaten them directly a pretty good claim to appear town. Because in your head that setup is 'neat' doesnt have a place in a solve, and you are heavily relying on it as very true when making the movements.

- Yeet me
- Sabrar jails Boomfrog
- EGW checks somi
- Somi checks EGW
- JC tracks one of EGW/somi (their choice)
- Frog hoslters (their track can come in clutch next night)
- Heury with the help of Bessie and Madge craft a lovely tribute for my sacrifice today to post at Start of Day
Sounds like a plan to me :hmmyes:

Hmm I think this is also okay. Moreso because last scum can use the Mark to also roleblock. This way the cop check is doubled with the track+cop on each

madge was able to act both N1 and N2 while having a mark (if we believe her). Mark and RB should be independent abilities.
