It was stated that Therions are the devourers and then I claimed being Therion.

I am Velvet the Devourer (Death Masoning Vigilante). I targeted bessie N1 and Madge N2.

The only result Bessie got last night was being targeted by myself. She is aligned with the Shepard and not the Lord of Calamity
Her town reads are heury, somi, Phillip, JC, Bop
There's some scummy content but EGW but he could be indy and Boomfrog is scummy but he likes to play scummy.
She seems to be leaning on Sabrar as town since he's in too good of a mood this game, but he didn't quite make the final town read cut.

I personally think Sabrar is town due to Wam trying to accuse Sabrar of outting himself for killing Bessie. I don't think it's a scum-scum interaction.

- bessie is a Doc-dodge or a team that is specifically afraid of her catching them in late-game (with a side-potential again of scum aiming for the other scum).

As the person I'm the game who I think would be most worried about town Bessie as scum is scum sabrar

I think remaining mafia are within EGW, BoomFrog and Santy.

Yeah I saw your Therion claim but seemingly noone paid any attention when I put it in thread, so I didn't bother with it.

Just to be perfectly clear: if you shoot a townie then you can chat with them (hence the Mason part). And technically this could be bullshit and you just making up reads for bessie. Why did you decide to shoot bessie and madge?

@mods: is it allowed to ask questions about past games that probably only bessie could answer to verify the death masonry? I assume not.

@bessie: there was a Secret Santa game where I pretended to have a post-restriction D1 and you were furious about it. We then had private chat from D2. Can you tell me any specific details about it that heury wouldn't know?

The fact that no one said anything such as you who were on at the time let me know that those who had paid attention probably realized I could be the vig so keeping silent was a town tell. Yes, anyone I devour I have night chat with them. So Bessie and I chatted for the first time during N2. And I'll be able to chat with Madge as well, but I don't see any reason to. Claiming now because I think it's important town realizes the devour was a vig kill. And assuming you all believe me, then I can share Bessie's insight as well before I get killed. I targeted Bessie because I wanted to pick someone who was tough to read and hopefully get lucky on scum, but if they're town then they are still dedicated enough to give reads to share on the main thread. I targeted Madge because I was fairly certain she wasn't town. She claimed Mason early and had coasted the rest of the game.

You know I don't like these types of reads because there is nothing tangible behind it. Could you point to specific instances where you think I'm off?

My brain knows that you have things on your mind, with the unexpected death of your colleague, which is why I didn’t want analyze you D1 the way I usually would but even my logical brain can’t always completely control how I feel.

Disclaimer: my reads make sense from my own pov, others have different experiences and/or expectations. Especially true when I am talking about what I expect from other players, I am probably equally bad or worse at anticipating what they are likely to do as they are when evaluating me.

I don’t remember you ever putting this kind of disclaimer on your content. You are usually confident that even if your conclusions are not correct, that the reasoning that led you to those conclusions is logical and will make sense to others.

Makhaira: healthy paranoia and progression on multiple issues. Not too familiar with Mak's scum-game and don't have time now to dive into it, so it will have to do for now.

I also think this is odd because I think you’ve played with Mak when he’s been scum. Unless you forgot that Mak is FrozenFlame and I don’t think you forget stuff.

There is no way there is two mafia factions + vigilantebtw. In case of multiball heury is prob a member of the other mafia , but I believe the vigilante claim. Since they claimed Therion I knew they were probably Velvet and could be the devourer (it was something Bop talked about early into D2 as well) , so imo it fits really well
