3041: "Unit Circle"

Title text: They're continuing to search for a square with the same area as the circle, as efforts to construct one have run into difficulties.

It looks like they dug it up. Does that mean, as with a lot of geometry, ancient people already knew about it?

Oh, are you thinking it was made by ancient people? I was assuming it was naturally occurring, forming deep inside the Earth and then coming to the surface through geological events.

Also, now they can remove the units from all the Physics textbooks!
