I really think it'd be disingenuous and extremely arbitrary to try to actually rank folks. Like somebody would ask me on D2 "Hmm, ahippo, what about X struck you as more scummy D1 than Y?" I'd much rather own up to not being really set on opinions than try desperately to concoct a list, then confirmation bias my way into being set in a bad decision.

I would love to just have some space and think about how things look at the beginning of D2, assuming I get there. I hope that's not gonna cause anyone to clutch their pearls.

It's not disingenuous, it helps us understand where you stand on the playerlist, and it helps keep you accountable. Please post one. It is always helpful to do that.

It is hard for mafia to fake reads as they already know who is town and scum, so by having players rank you might be able to identify who is trying to solve a=the game and who is making things up. So your reads please, or at least bottom 3 and top 3 to understand what you're thinking right now.

Can you give us your top 2-3 town and top 2-3 scum? If a bunch of people are relatively null or middling and you aren't sure, that's fine.

I'm not sure how to answer that. Are you asking if it's better to keep bubbles / fred over Boom regardless of alignment? If so I can see what you mean. Boom is the stronger player, so it is likely better he doesn't die if I am wrong on him. However I'm simply trying to find the best vote for today, and I also find competing wagons healthy as well. What is frustrating to me is bubbles not really being active besides that reads post though.

Ahippo- God I want opinions and actual reads so bad.I can understand the instinct to not have him “locked in” as town long game, it’s honestly critical to be able to change your mind and not lock yourself in a “but I was right the first time” hole, but I could not disagree more on the people discussing eliminating him off the worry that he could be gambity scum instead of stressed townie.

I think you are misunderstanding my reasons for keeping ahippo on my votables list. Yes I have pointed out two things he has done that I see as scummy. But there’s also not contributing is not helping.

Fred- I do want that reads list out, and I agree that there’s more promises than not. Fred has been defensive but more about his general playstyle which reads at worst neutral to me. I still think Fred is town coming off as sus to people, and scum are taking advantage of it. This could drop for me in the next in game day depending on his takes which would uproot my list badly.

Fred is another player that will be a liability late game even if he is town, if he doesn’t contribute. Do you want to be stuck in a three way gunfight at the end with Fred and someone that has been consistently posting content that you can go back and analyze? You also have JC in this category, but JC has at least given us an ordered list.

I think it's just a matter of opinion where I don't want to be stuck with people I can't analyze, but if they're reading town to me I'd rather them than not. Early at least I think I let that slide more.

For me, trying to rank people arbitrarily is how I end up ranking people not arbitrarily. Forcing yourself to make the list where you have to commit to some decisions and read into things can help create the read. Nobody is saying they can't change later!! I have never played a game where I was right the whole time, once, ever(no matter how much it feels that way at the time), but it still helped to have tried to write down thoughts. Plus, then, if/when your opinions change, you have something to compare them to and can ask yourself why.

Also it helps all of us to know what you were thinking going into the night! Otherwise, in the event say you aren't scum and get night killed which is not a super unlikely possibility, we don't get literally nothing out of it from your end. Day Two is not a given!!!



Also, based on how it's going I feel better w Bubblez than Fred here.
