@bessie why did uou not claim your cop result here?
Why would I claim a town result? This is an odd question. I was the first post of the day. Why would I claim in the first post of the day even if I had a scum result??

Don't think her use of powers is townie, she's in my POE pool.

Other option today is Moody but want to re read for somi interactions before reaching a conclusion.

Snipped down.

Two issues with this

1) seven appears to have the exact same set of powers so they can watch someone and say what they got and if they agree with mine

2) in this world where I faked my n1 result. What did I do N1?
Also the loud bit doesn't come up on the day start Post it's " JOAT targeted x"

And what about the information of somi claiming to have copped Mak ? That if somi was scum with them and got caught in the lie would be game losing for scum?

Honestly if somi copped bessie, calling both paranoid as a soft to bessie is kinda dumb, specially because they were also calling before Adum confirmed non-town.

And if it was a crumb in purpose, to later not use it just makes it weird. That read of the soft is seeing ghosts and highly influenced by *pun intended* paranoia.

And like, it feels even sillier if you think bessie is scum for somi to soft their role that way LMAO

Bessie and moody voting for me in this game state is absolutely wild. They are both clearly not on the same page, not sure what the hangup is

Vote: Bessie

Happy to see some momentum here, I really think this slot needs to flip. Why double target adum? Makes no sense. Why would she not state whether she is compulsory or not? There is no reason from a town PoV to hide that info. They both just want to chip away at my town equity to keep me open as an elim which screams non town today. They aren't even trying to work out sensible PoEs, like I genuinely don't understand how anyone with a town POV can see me as a play today

Seven just flip Bessie with us and we can come back to moody

1. I'm not actually suggesting that you're not necessarily a JOAT, or at least not on a team with one. What I am suggesting is the inconsistency suggests you did something else and either this looks more town motivated or unpairing (which it does with whoever tried to kill me), or whatever you actually did isn't justifiable from a town POV. Outside chance you added the publishing modifier that wasn't in your actual results so it would have some "new" information you could reasonably deduce, which is still scum motivated.

2. How is this an actual objection?
Wam wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2024 10:50 am Also the loud bit doesn't come up on the day start Post it's " JOAT targeted x"
And? Loud roles consistently don't get modifiers when they're named in beginning of day posts, that's consistent. We just saw flips get modifiers. The issue is that your claim is inconsistent. It caught the publishing modifier but not equivalent loud modifier for the other two JOATs. It also didn't catch the rest of Bessie's modifier. That means you faked something.

And in point of fact, the fakeclaim is scummy, but you were already scummy AF from other play. Recognizing for a fakeclaim just removes that it's unpairing.

I doubt bessie is scum. Her play is similar to AI and PYP. The weird vibe Mak is picking up on is bessie mixing in her initial reads with jokes. There was no town or scum motive behind it, she was just having fun.

Adum, you’re ignoring that JC also likely watched you and likely received the same result as Wam.

2. Is an objection because how when I made the false claim did I know that JC didn't watch you as well. Hence why it would be stupid to claim visiting ehen you didn't.

But the other bit is my powers are one shot, so I'm trying to poke at why you haven't thought this through. So if it was a false clai, I either

A) watched someone else, why wouldn't I claim that? Who could I have watched that would make me look scummy?

B) I used a different power which is going to become blindingly obvious as the game goes on as I won't have one of the claimed ones and will have a watcher.

But I'm done on this. Believe me or don't. But your theory is full of holes your not seeing and assumes I'm smart enough to add publishing to the cop but not smart enough at the same time to add loud to the obviously loud joats.

Despite my thinking Bessie is town, moody’s reasoning for town reading her is absurd, and to a lesser extent, Santy’s. There is a difference between bussing and distancing, something which both should know. Moody should also know that Bessie is well versed in distancing, especially since he lost Baldur’s gate to her distancing from her scum partner Seven. Santy doesn’t have direct experience with this so it is more understandable, but Thea provided this very information, so it’s peculiar that he isn’t incorporating it.

That's what you "were fishing for" that's not what you asked. You asked why she didn't claim in the linked post. Nor did you sufficiently follow up for it to be reasonable for Bessie to make the link instead of going for a default "you didn't read". Having had a similar conversation with Bessie before, this is NAI because you explained your rationale too early.

But you've been playing with Bessie much longer, why are you making this mistake?

My experience is bessie claims when needed and thinks it through I saw no evidence of that it was her thinking strategically it was just thrown back at me as questions.
