ok, reads list: Somi, Mak, Thea, and madge good; Seven and bessie bad (I really don't know why on bessie, you asked for gut and this is what is happening). EGW(-) and glue(=) are fine; need more content from Heury(-), Wam(=), moody(-), and JC(+) (Wam and JC promised more, this is good).

May I ask why? It's generally considered proper etiquette for forum mafia - editing is disallowed and having to break up a wall of text to address what's directed at you sucks.

I come from an almost entirely Forum Games background, where, except for a few notable exceptions, double posting is either disallowed or heavily penalized, so multiposting triggers my "that's illegal" response whenever I see it.

I disagree with Fred, I prefer smaller posts. Walls kill.

I'm fine when you do it Bessie. I understand your playstyle and time works with walls, and that is fine. I am saying I prefer not everyone do the same because then it becomes hard to read through everything. Also as people have said, multi-posting is required for mafia and therefore is legal so shouldn't be a problem for Fred.

I don't have an issue with walls. I have an issue with posts where the word to content ratio is horrifying. Haven't ran into that issue with anyone this game, though EGW has come to closest.

I like my posts to convey what I mean in as little words as possible. It makes it easy for others to understand quickly, and hard to twist, which I find to be good for town. Plus, none of my posts so far have been fluff, so there shouldn't be a problem.

I like walls better than multiposting, but to each their own

But Seven is an experienced player your logic falls.down based on them being able to think as either alignment. I actually have a slight lean the other way seven goes against consensus slightly more as town in my experience.

I do agree if glue flips scum fred needs looking at as scum are always more aware of their partners.

I think it is fairly unlikely that a post like this:

do mafia have daychat? it's probably in the rules which i did read ut didn't memorise.

The rules are a general ruleset with allowances for daychat but we don't even have a confirmation that there are actual scum.The rules are the vaguest on actual mechanics that I have ever seen. It's either that this game is entirely vanilla, or Adum is hiding a big stinker (wth is the name for one of those games?) (also I always phone it in until I do my in-depth analysis)

To me it seems kinda backward to try and pick off the mafiosi who are much harder to identify on D1 instead of the ones who already have enough content to analyse. Again, I'm not saying we should never elim lurkers, I'm just saying D1 seems like a suboptimal time to do it.

Lol sorry I missed the part where here, now, today, on D1 we have a scum candidate. Like ofc if Seven had said or done something super scummy I wouldn't hold off on voting them out out of my lurker principles or whatevs. Right now my two "keep around for now" people are Bessie and Seven and neither of them has done anything overly scummy. I'm not pleased with Seven refusing to vote for an extension on some weird principle, but I also know that having a weird principle is something Seven would do even as town and everything else has been pretty middle of the road.

Let's skip to D5, all that's left is you, JC, and Seven. I don't know about you but I'd really struggle to make a confident end of game decision based on JC's content right now. I don't know why this isn't more obvious?

That's been abundantly clear from the beginning, I'm not sure where the notion that not eliminating lurkers right now = definitely keeping them around to endgame comes from. I'm also not as concerned by that scenario as you are. I don't think I need to point this out, but JC would naturally have more content and crucially votes to analyse in an endgame situation than he does now and he may get sorted by PoE by that point. I'm not saying this wouldn't be a difficult call, but that's more the nature of endgame in general. I'd struggle to make a confident read of Seven right now...

I agreed with EGW's point that Glue's emergent post had a highly suspect timing, his content since may do something to temper that, but I'm not recalling much to do that. Heury's been pure cotton candy. JC is probably the least votable of the votables, when he actually puts up some more posts I'll have an actual read.

Thanks to Seven's genius, I discovered why Madge had frustration. So imagine Thea is scum with Madge here, they try to move me off of Madge with null tells, but I show an example of something she did as millerizer and Thea had to agree. Notice, Madge is composed when I vote her, but she shows AtE when responding to Thea. Therefore, this is faked, not genuine frustration. This is why, upon entering the thread and slanking, Gluelock votes her. He has more insight on her alignment than others, so he voted her while not being active. Next, Thea tries to town clear Madge by saying she might have a town role, which is a very weak angle to tackle reading her slot. Therefore, if Gluelock / Madge flip scum, Thea is scum.

I don't actually see why Gluelock votes scummate!madge in this situation instead of doing literally anything else, but you may have a point with the Thea/madge connection
