Alright, the results are in! Unfortunately two of our eleven entries were disqualified as the submitters never got their votes in. This leaves the question of whether to use modified scoring open for now; I ran the numbers both ways, just for the sake of it, and there was no change in the final result. This crab clawed its way to the rim of the bucket entirely on its own merits - ladies and gentlemen and whoever else, please extend a big hand (or a normal-sized one, if you're not some kind of lab mutant with monster paws) to quasijem and "Shia LaBeouf," plus a nod to immediate runners-up somitomi and orangedragonfire! The theme for the next round is songs that aren't made in isolation*! Not a very catchy name, but if your song is a parody, is part of another piece of art (e.g. part of a movie soundtrack or musical or video game), is a fan song, or just references something else a lot, it fits! It could be from one of your favourite movies, or it could be that catchy tune that plays in a boss battle.
*the song can be made during covid-isolation

DM me any fitting song you want until next Saturday (countdown) including title/artist, link and what it references, parodies or is from, and I'll then list the submissions for voting!

OK, the theme for the next round is dance. Whether it's a song about a dance or about dancing, or a song that has a well-known dance of its own, just as long as you don't just submit any song on the basis that "you can dance to it"! Deadline is 25th October!
