Also, I'm 99% sure Seven's read of the BG BC is accurate and he died protecting gluelock.

You may have been guarded by BoomFrog. He recognized that you were a leader, and if town, a good oneAdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 4:16 am Actually a little surprised I wasn't "visited" last night, wasn't expecting to survive the night phase tbh lol

That's the joke lol. Also that was supposed to be an exclamation pointIt is D2 so I have no personal restrictions on eliminations.AdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 6:04 am @Bessie congrats on finally being able to vote somi without feeling guilty about it?
thanks for the info.
I just don't agree with his, this reads like you two tunneling each other and giving each other more material with each bad argument. Can you not think of another reason for Seven’s behavior?AdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 4:27 pm Bluntly I don't think these points work well together and I think you've convinced yourself of Bessie scum and are working backwards to justify it,

So far so good, she's resting now. I ended up calling out of my first shift of work to take care of her and my BF left work early.I hope all is well.AdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 8:30 pm Apologies for being a bit scatterbrained, pet medical emergency

You know that I was not expecting you to have an avatar that I didn't even realize it was you that posted. Good choice.

Re: HaiLOWEEN 2023: AI apocalypse
JC: Yeah, his "if y'all think it will help go ahead and yeet me but I'm flipping green" was a towny moment, but the rest of his play is a stark contrast to his town play to me. I also just skimmed through his scum game and the differences I'm noting are the same there.
Mak: Again, misreading Zeniba's moody quotes as Zeniba's thoughts. The fact that he said that he liked her posting her thoughts is the scummy bit. Shows his reading of her wasn't authentic, he just saw big post and said oh I can say I like that.
Adum: One thing I forgot to mention in my initial thoughts on Adum is I feel he is playing differently than in sorcerers 11. Far more cautious. Getting everything in order before making a vote rather than vote and solve at the same time. This meta difference is the only reason why I'm gut reading him tbh. And I guess that point on scum!Boom not having any reason to defend heury when he did.
EGW: I 100% believe that EGW thought I was a traitor, so I don't think he's mafia, not even in a 2-2 scenario. Yet his play is still so odd. If the game were still going if the 4 above were eliminated and we end up finding out it's not 2-2, I'd aim here as possible Indy. For a comparison game, take a look at Stellaris Mafia where he was Indy there.
Somi seems fine. Wait Somi, can you go into detail about why EGW was your strongest town read???
Laser I'm just slightly suspicious of because it seems like he should have had a stronger town read of me yesterday. Seemed like he was playing things close to the fence. Everything else is good though.
Everyone else is obvtown.

Re: HaiLOWEEN 2023: AI apocalypse
*Raises hand* I think you're grasping at straws. My role pm doesn't say I'm definitely town. It says I'm town. The adverb I used was to emphasize disagreement when I drew what I thought to be (and still believe) an obvious conclusion which was the opposite of what you believed.Gluelock wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 1:14 am Maybe I'm nitpicking here, but just looking at this linguistically, your first two statements,
1. Yeah.... There were definitely 2 kill actions taken last night. Or do you think the doctor's action is always public?
2. Zeniba is definitely not a lone human, as mod clarified they were scum, not SK.
These both have very confident language being repeated. You're definitely sure there were 2 kill actions, and you're definitely sure theres more than 1 human.
Compare that to:
3. Yes. My role pm says I'm town, and not human or scum
This is lacking that confidence exuding jargon from your first two statements. Why not "My role pm says I'm definitely town, and not human or scum."? Ironically, you should be the most confident about this; the other two are reliant on conjecture but you ought to know your assigned role. Normally, I wouldn't even think about something like this, but it's a pattern that is really standing out to me. Does anyone else think I'm just grasping at straws here or is there some unconscious linguistic tell at play here?
And by playing around the slot so you mean sheeping Laser's town read on freddino?AdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 12:34 am ? I can confirm that whatever message you received isn't mine. If you think you're reading a BC of me flavor copping Heury, you're wrong. I think they're Zeniba's scummate because of their play around the slot.
Does the doctor usually override a bodyguard dying when the body guards protected the target?Seven wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 1:24 am BC = bread crumb
Yes exactly what moody said, I think the doctor is simply loud, which means their target is always announced whether they saved them or not. Theres no indication anywhere that boom frog was shot at twice. Hed still be alive even if that happened.
Lies. I won't believe until the flipAdumbroDeus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 3:55 am System.out.println("

End of D1 I was scum leaning seven, but kinda wanting to out them town. Reading their gameplay is like watching some puzzlemaker give a piece here and there and theere is more continuity as the game goes on and the reads actually make sense, even if I dont agree with every read.

I still have a feeling that seven doesn't care about the outcome of the game, and I have no clue if that's alignment indicative.

I feel like you are missing the intent of his entire play here, but only noticing a glimpse of it. Notice how Laser simply votes me today without any questioning or reasoning. It feels the same as when he voted Bessie. There's no actual intent to solve. Plus again, there is the lack of confidence from him. Tell me again, why you town read Laser?

Re: HaiLOWEEN 2023: AI apocalypse
I believe town laser would vote without dropping any reasoning and probably have a page long word doc somewhere with the reasoning in detail. Albeit, laserguy hasn't won a town read this game from me yet.

You think that the heury/bessie stuff was all just coincidence?Seven wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 12:34 pm Bessie seems like shes straight up open wolfing to me. That post where she was encouraging George’s traitor theory. Heury being top town read.
Only thing is, i dont think she would ever kill Glue night 1. Unless on a team with someone who is insistent and objective (detached) enough to make the kill.
Theory: bessie and Adum (dissenters) vs heury and Zeniba (humans)
I took the wording of Boom being protected as he was shielded, not that he was saved. The difference being that the latter implies that he was shielded + targeted. @mods if we are supposed to know, can you tell us which you mean here?
