Any forum games discussion that doesn't belong in a game thread can go here! e.g. proposing games that might need a few people to commit to them and gathering interest, discussing the rules of a game where the format makes it hard to discuss them within the thread, etc.

How do we want to handle Mafia games here? It had its own subforum on the old site, but whether it needs one here would depend on how much of it is going on. It also depends whether enough people here would be interested enough for it to be worth running a game.

Okay, with over half the posts on the entire board in two threads, I think Double Post and LTATLP are getting a bit too spammy. I think they need to have a rate-limiting rule to stop the flooding that happens whenever multiple players are online.

It was the one where you had to make an album cover out of a random quote, the title of a random wikipedia article and a random image.

Hopefully there will be, but I think Snide Sniper decided to wait and see if it takes off before making a new subforum for it.

Any particular reason Mafia needs its own subforum?

It's a convenience thing so that when there's an active game you don't need to search through forum games threads to find it. But also moreso, it really helps to have all past archive games together in one sub forum. It's really common for players to access past games to help their reads lists and it would be a pain for players to search through old forum games threads to find the mafia games. For right now, it's not really necessary, but I'm thinking about the future usage of this site.

The FG subforum is already about 90% of the entire forum right now, so having some organisation in there would help if mafia games become a regular thing.
