2794: "Alphabet Notes"

Title text: Listen, you're very cute, but if you rearrange the alphabet to put U and I together it will RUIN the spacing!

Who else saw the title and thought this would be some sort of extrapolation from using A-G as the names of the musical notes?

Reminds me of an episode of RequestCast, a podcast I've listened to (although I don't think they're making new episodes anymore).

(Those same people made a webcomic called Terror Island, which I think I found out about from the xkcd fora, though I don't remember which thread or who posted it.)

There's a way of generating ideas for melodies that I think one of my composition teachers taught me that involves assigning each letter of the alphabet to a note. (It was just, after G, it wraps around to H = A, I = B, J = C, etc.)

This page lets you listen to those melodies (type the word in the "normal" field, then look down to where it says "music"), although I kind of don't like how that page is organized so maybe I should make a separate page at some point that's just for that.

I figure the Alphabet should be organized by popularity, the most used letters are in the beginning and the least used at the end. Each language could have their own order.
Why is K in the first half when it is used far less than U?
