One good trick, if you get called on a fake service, is to build a working version of it and mention it again the next week.
I'd honestly start getting paranoid about any random list containing something fake, even if I recognised everything in it.

The easier trick is to wait for fake services to briefly flare into existence as real services before the startup goes bust.

Going only by names I have never been able to be sure if kids TV shows are real or a satire on kids TV shows names. For years I thought it was "The Mighty Morphine Power Rangers"
