Are you sure about Wam? I wasn’t there so I don’t have the feel of the end-of-day pacing, but with so many others appearing to want to stay on SuperJedi, do you not think it could have been an attempt to distance?

My feeling is that if that were the case, Wam would have just voted and dipped. But 15 minutes after his vote, one person had unvoted Jedi, and Jedi had switched to Sabrar, yet Wam came in and confirmed to Wisp that Jedi was responsible for the Loved mechanic. This to me affirms his intent to destructure the Jedi wagon.

i'm struggling because i should sheep bessie and vote mathblade but i don't think mathblade has done anything scummy. the thing is i don't think anyone has done anything scummy EXCEPT FOR SEVEN WHO LIED TO US (grrrrrrrrrrr)

i'm really wary of voting morgan as they're in wisp's "likely town" group so of those two that's my pick

I don't really understand your logic. You want to sheep bessie, except you don't like bessie's scumread, even though as a baseline you basically don't have a read on anyone? Or at least nobody sticks out as scummy. So why the hesitancy when you're already abandoning personal responsibility for your vote?

The fact it was scum!Sabrar being eliminated D1. I'm not used to him being caught so easily. I'd like to think that had Jedi been elimed and flipped town, I would have been able to use that data point to push the vague suspicion about him into a vote, but that's speculation at this point.

As for being votepoked, would a claim be helpful to you? Madge and the worst can vote among themselves if they want one from me.

I'm trying a new meta that involves sheeping dead townies and trusted living players. I trust bessie, but not as much as i trust wisp who is deaqd and conftown, and even if i trust bessie, she makes mistakes and i might know better than her

Hi, I apparently have been approved to play. Yay.
I'm Märklin, I've been playing forum mafia for about 3 years now, I think? I started on Chief Delphi (rip) and I'm now most active on Mafia451 but I haven't played in a long time, so I'm probably really rusty at this point lol. I think the last game I played was on smashboards, I think that included osie, wisp, and a few others in this game. I also don't know this forum software well (I prefer Discourse mainly for the interface and infinite scroll) so i'm definitely going to make mistakes.
Also just realized this is an XKCD forum, I love XKCD lol

Osie designs setups very deliberately so that they can't be solved via claims alone. That means there's value in information being collected by roles, but also a very high probability that scum have some way to use knowledge of roles against players - I'd rather kick claiming as much as possible down the road towards maybe the day before ELo.

Nothing scares me except geese btw just rather work on day play and behavioural tells in a setup which is probably designed to punish solving via mechanics.
